Many of the patients that we see have perfectly normal looking legs, but they are presenting with leg swelling or leg pain. Most of them do know realize that varicose veins are most often inside the leg, so you may not have any visual symptoms. However, if you are standing or sitting for a prolonged period of time, this may lead to leg swelling or leg pain.
